Returning to Santa Barbara after its sold-out 2001 concert, this great English a cappella ensemble, renowned for a pure, luxuriant and otherworldly sound, is the leading exponent of Renaissance sacred music. Under the artistic direction of Peter Phillips, The Tallis Scholars’ subtle, ethereal blend of mellifluous voices leaves audiences enraptured. The group will perform a new holiday program including a Christmas mass by Palestrina.
