Gypsy music and the Roma tradition meet when the vital ensemble Taraf de Haïdouks and masterful Belgian guitarist Biréli Lagrène share the stage. A dozen instrumentalists and singers ranging in age from 20 to 78, Taraf de Haïdouks perform a mix of local styles and flavors representing the richness of the Romanian folk tradition, from haunting ballads to dizzying fiddle dances. Guitarist Biréli Lagrène began amazing audiences at the age of 4, embracing the groundbreaking style of Django Reinhardt.
