Because his October 2001 performance sold out so quickly that we could not meet audience demand, UCSB welcomes back the uproariously funny David Sedaris, one of America’s wittiest and most irreverent voices and author of the best-selling Me Talk Pretty One Day and Naked. Sedaris’ comic genius wields wide-ranging tools, from cutting one-liners like “It is confusing when a stupid person plays dumb” to ripe-for-laughter situations like the one that brought him to fame, his Christmas stint as an elf at Macy’s. Sedaris will be reading new work.
