Credited with bringing jazz to the forefront of American culture, Pulitzer Prize-winning trumpeter Wynton Marsalis is one of the most accomplished jazz artists of his generation and he conducts the world’s most swinging big band. Comprised of 15 of today’s finest jazz soloists and ensemble players, the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra (LCJO) features a vast repertory including Duke Ellington, Count Basie and Thelonious Monk.
