“The unique beauty of the singing and
the warmth of the lyric content are matched
by the proud spirit of the musicians.”
—San Francisco Examiner
Magic and nostalgia waft through the air whenever these legendary Cuban musicians take the stage. Introduced to America by Ry Cooder’s blockbuster album The Buena Vista Social Club, and the critically acclaimed Wim Wenders documentary of the same name, this spectacular Cuban orchestra features a roster of musicians, including the great crooner Ibrahim Ferrer, who have invented the Cuban sound as we know it. Old Havana comes alive as they perform the romantic, bittersweet songs of a vanished world.
