“THE SECOND CIRCLE
Love Songs of Francesco Landini”

Sunday, February 3, 2002
4 p.m. / Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church

“Anonymous 4 always seem to find that particular place in the hearts of listeners that’s untouched by anyone else.”
CD Review

Selling more than a million CDs worldwide and regularly topping Billboard’s classical charts, the four women who comprise Anonymous 4 are early music superstars celebrated for their rich, dazzling vocal blend and original programs. Combining musical, literary, and historical scholarship with adept dramatic instinct, they interweave music with poetry and narrative. They will sing the 14th century love songs by Florentine composer Francesco Landini that are an exquisite expression of Dante’s legendary love for Beatrice.
