“A company on the move, hip and hot, looking good
and dancing deliciously on the edge.”
—San Francisco Chronicle

Truly contemporary movement merges with sleek ballet precision in the work of Alonzo King’s singular San Francisco-based company. From daring extremes of balance to innovative partnering, from challenging, unusual pointe work to action-packed muscular choreography, from evocative situations to complex relationships, King demands of his dancers both flawless technique and expressive depth. They’ll perform The Heart’s Natural Inclination, a new work that premiered at San Francisco’s Yerba Buena Center in February, and Who Dressed You Like a Foreigner? with commissioned music by classical Indian musician and tabla master Zakir Hussain.
