Taylor 2 Dance
Friday, May 14

No modern choreographer is as versatile, witty, menacing and physically joyful as Paul Taylor.
Washington Post

Formed in 1993 by Paul Taylor, the living legend of New York modern dance, this troupe of six first-string professionals performs his ebullient, essential repertory. Always inspired by music, Taylors work is lively and luscious, with movement that ranges from pedestrian to richly formal. The program includes Esplanade, Taylor's signature work; Images, a dance about myth and legend set to music by Debussy, and the hilarious, gender-bending Funny Papers. Stay after for a Meet-the-Artists Discussion.

General public: $16/$19/$22
Students: $12/$15/$18

The Mathematics of Change
Wednesday, May 19

Kornbluths writing is witty; his delivery is passionate and full of physicality. His stage persona is profound, all earnest and bursting with naiveté and nerve.
St. Louis Post-Dispatch

A riveting, hilarious solo performer, Kornbluth spins an intelligent, self-revealing comic tale of a bright young urbanite confronted with the limits of his genius as a first-year math major at Princeton. The sequel to his comic monologue Red Diaper Baby, Mathematics of Change is a delightful evening for theater fans, numbers junkies and anyone who enjoys a good laugh.

General public: $14/$17/$20
Students: $12/$14/$16
