Carlos Núñez Band
Celtic Music from Northern Spain
Thursday, May 6

If its possible to become a pop star playing bagpipes and recorder, Núñez could be the man.
Los Angeles Times

Carlos Núñez is the sensational bagpipe player who brought down the house as guest artist on tour with the Chieftains last year. He leads his band in the unique Celtic music of Spain: reels, jigs and heart-rending serenades tinted with flamenco and Latin sounds. In Núñez sparkling mix, bagpipes, flute and penny whistle make magic alongside Spanish guitar, bass and accordion. Look for his new CD in January 1999.
