“Gorgeous tone, perfect intonation and ideal phrasing, all of which is a matter of routine for these superb singers.” Philadelphia Inquirer

Synonymous with enchanting, full-bodied a cappella music, Chanticleer’s twelve singers are always a breath of fresh air. This time accompanied by a period instrument orchestra, they’ll perform works from their forthcoming, second CD of Mexican Baroque music. Reconstructed from manuscripts recently rediscovered at the Cathedral in Mexico City, this is the first time this music has been heard in more than 200 years.

General public: $15/$18/$22. Students: $12/$14/$17.
