Stunning dances performed with technical finesse and interpretive depth... These pioneering essays speak to all humanity. DanceMagazine
The four veteran performers, including Santa Barbara's own Nancy Colahan, who make up this estimable company bring to vibrant life solo masterworks by the pivotal women of early modern dance. They'll perform works by the likes of Doris Humphrey, Agnes de Mille, Isadora Duncan and the great German expressionist Mary Wigman. The dancers' expansive presence and emotional depth are culled from luminous careers with José Limón, Martha Graham, Lar Lubovitch and Mikhail Baryshnikov's White Oak Project. Stay after for a Meet-the-Artists discussion.
